Friday Night At The Factory is back for 2024..... Join us Friday 10th May at GBS.

Friday Night at the Factory is back and happening in May / June / July / August at Great British Sports Cars.
Happening again this year is our Friday Night at the Factory event -This event we are planning to happen one Friday a month from May to August. Similar style to our GBS Cars & Coffee events this is a great opportunity for you all to have a summer evening ride out in your sports cars / bikes and a meeting point to enjoy an evening of cars, bikes, car chat, music, food and drinks with the GBS Team. The GBS Car Park will be open from 5pm till late.  

Hot Food (Pizza) and Drinks will be available for you all to enjoy on the night. The first date for the GBS Friday Night at the Factory is happening on Friday 10th May and then we plan them to take place in June, July and August. The other dates will be confirmed and announced very soon.

All cars and bikes are welcome and everyone is welcome to join us for a great evening. Please drive responsibly in the local area.

The Kit Spares Shop will not be open on this ‘Friday Night at the Factory’ but please call before and pre order your parts ready to collect on the evening. www.kitspares.co.uk

Busy first GBS Cars & Coffee event of the year at GBS on Saturday....

Big thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday (9th March) at GBS for our first Cars and Coffee event of the year…….The weather was perfect and the rain held off for the day. We would like to say a big THANK YOU to you all for joining us and helping us make it such a great event and enjoyable day, its always nice to see the Zero’s together in the car park along with a wide variety of other cars.

The GBS and Kit Spares show room was very busy with people and the Kit Spares   was also very busy with sales and enquires. As usual the cakes attracted a lot of attention and certainly went down well with not many left along with the unlimited supply of tea and coffee. We would also like to thank Howden Specialist Vehicle Insurance for sponsoring and supporting our event, you can see more about their insurance they offer on our Insurance page.

The mince pies didn't last long at our GBS Christmas Cars & Coffee event.....

Last event of 2023……. Think Saturday was the coldest Christmas Cars and Coffee event we have ever had, but still a great turn out and not many mince pies left! Big thank you to everyone who wrapped up warm and joined us, it’s always good to get together and have a car park full of so many different cars. The mince pies went down very well, with only a few left for the GBS team to enjoy. Thank you also to everyone who donated toys for the Santa Bikes Toy Run we are supporting that is happening later this month.

The GBS and Kit Spares show room was very busy with people and the Kit Spares  Shop was also very busy with sales and enquires. The GBS Workshop was also open on the day for viewing, to see more about the workshop services we offer click here.

GBS Christmas Cars & Coffee with Mince Pies….

The next GBS Cars & Coffee event will be our Christmas Cars & Coffee event which is now confirmed and the GBS Team would like to invite you all to the GBS Factory on Saturday 2nd December for Tea/Coffee and Mince Pies & Biscuits to say Happy Christmas and Thank You for all your support this year.

The GBS showroom will be open on the day as well as the Kit Spares Shop, we hope you can come and join us!  Everyone is welcome, why not wrap up warm and come in your Zero and other sports cars and help us raise more money for two great charities…. At our GBS events we hold we always offer free refreshments on the day and always ask for donations to help our chosen charities which are the Cancer Research and The Notts & Lincs Air Ambulance.

We would like to say a big thank you to you all for your generous donations you have made to our charities on the day. We were delighted to have raised a total of £1,063.28 for The Cancer Research Charity and £1,244.79 for The Notts & Lincs Air Ambulance since we started collecting for them at our GBS Events several years ago, which is fantastic and we thank you all for your generous donations.

Our last GBS Cars & Coffee event of the year will be taking place in a few weeks on Saturday 3rd December and we hope you can all join us and enjoy some mince pies with us. We will be announcing the 2023 GBS Cars & Coffee dates very soon.

GBS Cars & Coffee this weekend - Event update

Our GBS Cars & Coffee event this Saturday (17th September) with Sealey Tools will still be going ahead as planned and we look forward to welcoming you all to GBS, having a car park full of sports cars and raising money for our chosen charities Notts & Lincs Air Ambulance & Cancer Research. Following the recent announcement of the State Funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Monday 19th September, as a mark of respect, we have taken the decision to close GBS & Kit Spares on this day. We will reopen as normal on Tuesday 20th September.

A truly remarkable woman. Thank you for your extraordinary service.​ Our thoughts are with the Royal Family and we send our deepest condolences to them at this sad time.

We would like to say thank you to you all for your generous donations to our charities. We were delighted to have raised £172.15 for Cancer Research and The Notts & Lincs Air Ambulance donations will be counted later in the year when they next visit, and also £83.10 for the Ukraine Crisis.
The Cancer Research Charity got in touch to let us know that we have raised a total of £958.16 since we started collecting for them at our GBS Events, which is fantastic.

 Another great thing about our GBS Cars & Coffee events that we love, is that we are able to raise money for our 2 chosen charities which are the Cancer Research UK and The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, we all feel and hope you agree that The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is a fantastic service and has helped & will continue to help many people, as well as the Cancer Research UK that is again a fantastic charity that makes a big difference to so many people and their families. We also decided to collect for Ukraine Crisis, we will let you know how much money we have raised.

We are excited to share with you all that we have now confirmed the date for the first GBS Cars & Coffee event of 2022, which is proudly sponsored by A-Plan Insurance and will be taking place on Saturday 19th March at GBS from 10am-2pm.

As many of you know everyone at GBS has a strong passion for cars and anything to do with motorsport and we love our Cars & Coffee events and Track Days etc and we all love to host our Cars & Coffee days which are getting busier and attracting a verity of sports cars each time we host one.

After working with A-Plan Insurance for several years now and promoting their Insurance services we are delighted that they are joining us and will be sponsoring the event…..

The GBS Cars & Coffee event at GBS was created in 2016 and has since been a massive success & we have continued to hold the event again for several years. Its an event that we have created that gives the chance for you all to have a ride out in your sports cars / meeting point and enjoy a coffee (plus biscuits/ cake of course) and chat about your cars, all are welcome to join us in any car (modern or classic including bikes). Everyone is welcome to join us!
