New GBS Clothing Range Just Got Bigger.....

We’re excited to announce that our GBS clothing range has just expanded with the addition of a brand-new hoodie and T-shirt design, featuring the iconic Zero silhouette on the front.

Available in a wide choice of colours and sizes, these new additions sit alongside our existing range and are available to purchase online via our Kit Spares parts shop, as well as in-store at the GBS / Kit Spares shop.

We currently have a large amount of stock available; however, if your preferred colour and size combination isn’t in stock, please allow up to 7 days from the order date for delivery. We’re also pleased to offer these in children’s sizes (made to order), and they’ve already proven incredibly popular since launch — it’s fantastic to see so many families getting involved and wearing GBS together.

The team are big fans too and have all been wearing the new range — you may have even spotted them at our recent Cars & Coffee event!
You can order yours online today, or why not collect in person at our first GBS Friday Night at the Factory event, taking place at GBS on Friday 1st May? It’s the perfect way to kick off the bank holiday weekend. We look forward to seeing you there, all cars are welcome!

GBS Christmas Cars & Coffee.... the weather warning didn’t stop an amazing turnout!

What a Fantastic Final Event of 2024! Last Saturday (7th December) marked one of the wettest GBS Christmas Cars & Coffee event we’ve ever had, and despite the weather warning it didn’t stop an amazing turnout! A huge thank you to everyone who braved the chill, wrapped up warm, and joined us for a day filled with cars, mince pies, and great company.

The GBS & Kit Spares showroom was buzzing with activity, and the Kit Spares shop was kept busy with plenty of sales and inquiries. Visitors also got to explore our GBS Workshop—click here to learn more about the workshop services we offer.

One of the highlights of these events is the chance to give back. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to support two fantastic charities—Cancer Research UK and the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. We also welcomed Nottinghamshire Blood Bikes and collected for them, which is another great charity, you can read more about what they do here. All three charities provide invaluable support to so many people and their families. Thank you for helping us make a difference.

We’re already looking forward to hosting more GBS Cars & Coffee events next year. Stay tuned—details of the first event in 2025 will be announced next week! In the meantime, follow us on Facebook and Instagram for photos and videos from the day.

Thank you again for all your support this year, and here’s to more exciting events in 2025!

Busy weekend at the Newark Kit Car Show....

Last weekend (21st & 22nd September), we had an amazing time at the Newark Kit Car Show at Newark Showground! A huge thank you to everyone who visited us—it was fantastic to see both new and familiar faces. We proudly displayed our 2.5L Ford Duratec-powered Zero demonstrator, a Zero Mazda build, our Zero Race demonstrator, and a fully paneled chassis fresh from production, which will be heading to paint in the next few weeks. Our Zero Race car will also be hitting the track next month at our GBS Track Day at Blyton Park.

Alongside the cars, we showcased a range of ATR Products, all designed and manufactured in-house. You can find all these products and more online at Kit Spares – www.kitspares.co.uk.

If you're considering a Zero Self Build kit, don't hesitate to get in touch and book a visit to our factory. We’d love to show you around, discuss your options, and answer any questions you might have.

Check out more photos and videos from the event on our Instagram page! Click here to follow us on Instagram! or click the button below to head to our YouTube Channel to see a short video from the show.

Exciting News: We are supplying ATR Products for the New TOCA Junior Championship....

We are thrilled to announce that we will be supplying a range of ATR products to the newly launched TOCA Junior Championship. This exciting development comes after an extensive testing program, and we are now gearing up for the start of manufacturing in the coming weeks.
Since the Championship's concept was first announced, they have been overwhelmed by the incredible interest from teams and drivers eager to join the grid. It’s truly inspiring to see such a strong appetite for junior racing in the UK, and we're honoured to be part of this journey.

Behind the scenes, everyone has been working tirelessly to finalise the car's design and set up. Last week was the unveiling of the car to prospective teams and drivers at the Mercure Hotel in Daventry.
Now the team will shortly be heading to Donington Park to showcase the car within the British Touring Car Championship paddock. This is a thrilling opportunity, as the public will get their first look at the car and share their reactions. It’s just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting season ahead!
These launches not only mark the countdown to our inaugural race but also set the stage for more exciting announcements in the coming weeks and months. We can't wait to share what’s next! Stay tuned for more updates on the New TOCA Junior Championship by following them on social media and visit their website to see more.

Another Zero on the road and registered in the USA.....

Another Zero on the road and registered in the USA..... Its great to see that recently another Zero is now fully registered and being enjoyed on the road in the USA. This customer has now completed his Duratec powered Zero build and already covered several hundred miles and been to a car show where it attracted a lot of attention. Another Zero is currently at paint that will be back with us next month and then on the way to its new owner in the USA very soon.

We look forward to receiving more photographs from our customers in the USA out and about enjoying their Zeros and sharing more photos with you. The Zero range is available in LHD and exported worldwide, please get in touch with us and we can put you in touch with our USA Representative.

At the weekend we hosted our first Cars & Coffee event of the year here at GBS and it was great to see a few new Zero owners join us for the very first time in their newly registered Zeros and also great to hear that they have booked on to join us on our Track Day later this month. More details can be found on our GBS event page.

NEW Project Electric Zero powered by the Tesla motor fabricated and ready to be built.....

GBS Zero Student Build…… Last year a college placed their order for their first GBS Zero Self Build Kit which was delivered to them last month and the build will now be started. This wasn’t a standard kit as they wanted the Zero to be electrically powered by a Tesla engine. So the Zero chassis has had to be modified to suit their engine choice.
This complete custom engine installation was completed by the GBS team to accommodate a Tesla motor and then fabricated in our fabrication department. We look forward to following and supporting the students with this exciting build.
We have recently shared a video on this Zero chassis which can now be seen on our GBS YouTube Chanel.
We are able to work with you to customise the whole power train and other aspects of the car. Last year we completed a Zero build which you may have seen featured on our YouTube Chanel already that was powered by a Kawasaki 1400 GTR engine that is now complete and road registered and being enjoyed on the road.

The Zeros can be enjoyed on the Road & Track, with the option to have this Zero kit with the Zero fully welded integrated Roll Cage, which are MSA Compliant and FIA Compliant. See more details about the Zero Self Build options we offer including the Zero Custom kit here, or contact us to discuss your Zero build.
