Supporting the Next Generation of Engineers at GBS.....
/We regularly receive enquiries about work experience opportunities, and whenever possible, we are always keen to support and encourage the next generation of engineers, technicians, and motorsport enthusiasts.
This week, we were delighted to welcome Nathaniel from Fulham Boys School, who joined the GBS team for a week of work experience.
During his time with us, Nathaniel had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across several areas of the business, including our workshop, engineering department, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing. He also saw first-hand what goes into designing, developing, and building the GBS Zero, as well as the wide range of ATR Products that we manufacture in-house.
Work experience is a fantastic way for young people to gain an insight into the automotive and engineering industry, helping them develop practical skills while learning about the different career opportunities available within motorsport and manufacturing. We hope Nathaniel enjoyed experiencing the day-to-day activities of the GBS team and gained a better understanding of what goes into producing our sports cars and performance components.
It was a pleasure to have Nathaniel with us throughout the week. He showed a great attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn, everyone at GBS wishes Nathaniel every success with his future studies and career, and we look forward to welcoming him back to future GBS events.
If you're interested in engineering, manufacturing, or motorsport, don't forget that we also offer GBS Factory Tours, giving visitors the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see how the GBS Zero and ATR Products are designed and manufactured. Visit our website to find out more about upcoming tour dates and events.
