Try our Standard and GT Zero Chassis before you buy....

Ever wondered about the difference between our Standard and GT Zero chassis? The answer is 80mm, and now you’ll be able to experience the difference first-hand!
We’re pleased to introduce our new half-and-half Zero chassis—perfect for trying both sizes during your visit to GBS or at the events we attend.

Each chassis option is designed to suit different driver preferences and needs, offering the perfect balance between comfort and performance. The Standard chassis offers a compact, agile feel, while the GT chassis provides extra space and comfort without compromising performance.

To help you decide which is right for you, we’re excited to introduce our half-and-half Zero chassis. This innovative display will allow you to experience both sizes side-by-side, giving you a unique opportunity to “try before you buy.”
The difference of 80mm does not sound a lot but it does make a big different and now you’ll be able to sit in and compare the feel of each chassis, ensuring your Zero chassis is right for to you.

We invite you to visit GBS to see the half-and-half chassis in person and try it out. Our team will be on hand to answer your questions, discuss your build, and help you make the best choice for your Zero. You’ll also have the chance to explore our factory, see more of what we do, and discover the craftsmanship behind every Zero.

Can’t make it to us? Keep an eye out for this new chassis at the events we’ll be attending throughout the year as I am sure it will make an appearance. We look forward to helping you start your Zero journey! Contact us here.

Porsche Club Great Britain Visit GBS for Exclusive Factory Tour....

Porsche Club Great Britain Visit GBS for Exclusive Factory Tour….

We were delighted to welcome members of the Porsche Club Great Britain to GBS on Saturday (26th April) for a special private factory tour. It was a fantastic morning, giving enthusiasts a true behind-the-scenes insight into the world of GBS and everything that goes into creating our cars and products.

The tour, led by Richard, offered an in-depth look into each stage of the production process. Guests were shown around our busy workshop areas, fabrication and engineering departments, composites division, and much more. It was a real opportunity to showcase the craftsmanship, innovation, and passion that go into every GBS Zero.

The car park was filled with stunning examples of Porsche engineering, and it was brilliant to see such a variety of beautifully presented cars. We always enjoy opening our doors and sharing what we do. If you're part of a club or group and would like to arrange a private factory tour, we’d love to hear from you. Saturday 14th June at GBS

We’re excited to officially announce the date for the next GBS Cars & Coffee event of 2025 – and it’s set to be another fantastic day! Proudly sponsored by Yokohama Tyres, the event will take place on Saturday 14th June right here at GBS.

As many of you know, the entire team at GBS shares a deep passion for all things automotive and motorsport. Our Cars & Coffee events have become a real highlight of the year for us and our community – bringing together car enthusiasts from all over for a relaxed and enjoyable morning of great cars, great conversation, and of course, great coffee (and cake)!

The events continue to grow each year, with an increasingly diverse mix of sports cars, kit cars, and performance builds filling the car park and spilling out onto the road. It’s always an incredible sight!
We’re especially pleased to be partnering once again with Yokohama Tyres – a brand we’ve proudly worked with and stocked for several years through our parts shop Kit Spares. Their support and enthusiasm for the kit car and motorsport community make them the perfect fit for our events, and we’re delighted to welcome them back for this one.

Whether you're a GBS Zero owner, in the process of building your car, or simply an automotive enthusiast, the GBS Cars & Coffee event is the perfect place to catch up, see some incredible cars, explore the showroom, and chat with the team.
Another great thing about our GBS Cars & Coffee events are that we raise more money for our great charities that we support…. We collect for the Notts & Lincs Air Ambulance, Nottingham Blood Bike & Cancer Research, and will be collecting on the day. Refreshments are free and all we ask for is a donation to our chosen charities.

The Kit Spares shop and showroom ( www.kitspares.co.uk ) will be open on the day for collections. Please feel free to call us or email and pre order and parts, ready to collect on the day.
No booking is required – just turn up and enjoy!

The Perfect Home for a Zero Build.....

We always love seeing what our customers are up to with their Zeros and getting a glimpse into the garages and workshops where these incredible cars come to life. Recently, we received some fantastic images from a customer who has created a brand-new home for their Zero—transforming a shipping container into the perfect home for their Zero!

The transformation is truly impressive. The container has been carefully modified, with windows and doors installed to allow for natural light and ventilation. The inside has been fully spray-painted by hand with this fantastic scenery incorporating the GBS Logo, creating a clean and functional space that looks amazing. It's the perfect example of how you don’t need a huge workshop to build and enjoy a Zero!

The Zero is an ideal build for a small garage or compact workspace, and to make things even easier, we offer a GBS Build Trolley, which allows the chassis to be easily moved around as you progress with your build. Whether you have a full workshop or a compact space, building a Zero is an achievable and rewarding project.

Thinking about starting your own Zero build? Contact us today to discuss the options available and how we can help you get started!

A Great Start to the 2025 GBS Track Day Season at Blyton Park!

A Great Start to the 2025 GBS Track Day Season!
On Saturday (22nd March) we had a fun-filled day at the track to kick off our first GBS Track Day of the year at Blyton Park with Javelin Track Days! It’s always incredible to see the Zeros out on track together, pushing their limits and delivering an exhilarating driving experience.

Our Zero Mazda demonstrator and Ford Zero Race Car were flat-out all day, completing non-stop laps, even in the rain! The GBS team took turns behind the wheel, making the most of the track time and enjoying every lap. Both cars had queues of eager passengers, keen to experience the thrill of the Zero from the passenger seat.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—we hope you had as much fun as we did! The little bit of rain didn’t stop the action, and it was fantastic to see so many enthusiastic drivers and spectators enjoying the day.
Stay tuned—the next track day date will be announced very soon, and we hope you can all join us again for more fun on the track!

The Zero is ideal for both the road and track, click here to explore more options about the Zeros. More photographs and videos can be seen on our GBS Facebook and Instagram pages and please visit our new GBS TikTok page to see a short video.

Customer enjoys their Zero on the track for the first time...

Always great to see customers enjoying their Zeros and receiving photos from their adventures! This customer recently took their Zero out for its first track day at Snetterton, and what a fantastic day they had! We love seeing Zeros in action—keep sharing your experiences with us!

Here a few words from Stuart about his Zero self build experience:
“Always wanted to build a Super 7 Kit car, had a good look about and stumbled across GBS. Done a factory visit and love all the cool aluminium parts that came with the kit. I could buy and pay for it stages, which suited me as I have limited space ( and Cash ). Really enjoyed the building process and enjoy driving it. A big plus point was I could fit into a standard GBS, I would had to get a SV Caterham which would of cost more. If your looking for a super 7 kit to build add GBS on your list of places to visit / research before you make a final decision”. Stuart Dunston.

Join us this Saturday (22nd March) at Blyton Park for Our First GBS Track Day of the Year! The event is now fully booked, but the GBS team will be there with our Zero demonstrators, along with several customers who are also set to hit the track. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day of driving and adrenaline!

Even if you’re not on track, come along and soak up the atmosphere—there will also be a chance to enjoy a passenger ride in our Zero demonstrator! See you there! See more details on our event page.

At every GBS Cars & Coffee event, our GBS Showroom and Workshop are open for visitors to explore, as well as the Kit Spares shop, offering a chance to browse a range of parts and accessories. Of course, no event would be complete without cake, biscuits, and unlimited tea & coffee!

These events are completely free, but we encourage donations to help raise money for three great charities that we proudly support: Notts & Lincs Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK &
Nottinghamshire Blood Bikes.

The GBS team looks forward to welcoming you to our future Cars & Coffee events—keep an eye on our website and social media for the next event date, which will be announced soon! We can't wait to do it all again!

Top Gear - First Drive GBS Zero review: Rated the Zero 7 out of 10.....

Earlier this year, our GBS Zero demonstrator, powered by the 2.5 Duratec engine, went away for an exciting week—and we can now finally share where it went! The team at Top Gear Magazine took it for a full review, putting it through its paces on the road and giving their expert verdict.

In their First Drive review, Top Gear rated the Zero 7 out of 10, with the headline: "Caterham Better Watch Out!" We’re thrilled with the feedback, which praises the Zero’s lightweight design, thrilling performance, and engaging driving experience. Their insights will help us refine and develop the Zero even further.
