Fantastic 3 days at Goodwood Revival with the Zero….

We had another great year at this years Goodwood Revival with the Zero….. Last weekend (13th-15th September) we were at The Goodwood Revival show with the GBS Zero, it was a fantastic event and a truly amazing show to be at, its one of our favourite events of the year and we always look forward to it! We were situated Over The Road on stand 381, on a slightly different stand location to previous years as the location of all the stands got moved around this year.

We had our new Zero demonstrator on display which attracted a lot of attention over the 3 days along with a sample range of components and engines. We will share more details and the specification of our new Zero Gen 2 Demonstrator with you later this week.

Our stand was busy all weekend and the weather was perfect, we all enjoyed the show and it was fantastic to see all of the racing out on the circuit and up close in the paddock as well as Air Displays, Shopping and much more, as well as catch up with suppliers, customers and friends… We would like to thank everyone that visited our stand.

We are now back at the factory, busy getting ready for our next event that is happening this Saturday (21st September) which is our GBS Cars & Coffee event. Gates open at 10am, let us know you are coming and share with your friends and family, all are welcome in any car!

This is one of our favourite shows of the year and we all always look forward to it, we can be found in a slightly different stand location to last year we can be found on Stand Number 381 Over the Road. We are now just busy preparing and planning the stand details for the event. If you get the opportunity to go to this event we would recommend it as it is 3 days full of fantastic Motorsport with so much to see and enjoy for all the family.

Last weekend we had this stunning Zero on display on the Yokohama Stand at the Silverstone Classic Show. Yokohama, was proud to have returned for its second year and as the official tyre partner of the Silverstone Classic. We were delighted to have been invited to have a Zero on their stand for the event which was busy all weekend. Our Apprentice is doing well….

Congratulations again to our Apprentice Thomas Slaney who is doing well at College and recently received some more certificates for EAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering (CNC Machining) and Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture (Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering).

Thomas has been with us for nearly 4 years now, since starting in 2016 Thomas has been based working on our CNC machinery alongside our machinists and designer.

We are all very proud of him and is a very valued member of our team and we are lucky to have such a great apprentice. Thomas is studying at Rotherham College where he attends for 1 day a week.

We would also like to thank Edgecam and Engineering Technology Group (ETG) for their continued support and allowing Thomas to attend their training courses.
