Time for our Zero Demonstrator to find a new home.....

The time has come for us to sell our much loved Zero 2.5 Duratec Zero demonstrators as we are pleased to now have a new replacement. Our Zero Demonstrator is only 3 years old (year of registration 2020), of great spec with lots of optional extras fitted and good condition inside and out, only covering 2800 miles. It has recently just undergone a full service and check before we released it for sale.
Specification: Painted in Mercedes Red with a Louvered Bonnet and Sport Front Wings. Its powered by the Ford 2.5 Duratec engine with ATR Throttle Bodies, 5 Speed manual Gearbox. Life Racing ECU F88 with a Push Button Start Switch, Carbon Fibre Dash with Digital AIMs Dash setup. NEW GBS ZERO DEMONSTRATOR…..

Nice Zero's with us in the GBS Workshop & Self build Kits collected....

Its has been a busy few weeks and months in the GBS Workshop with several Zero’s and other sports cars coming and going, that have been with us for various works including the IVA Test that we offer. These four Zero’s have all now been IVA tested and are now waiting for the registration to come through. The next two months are also looking very busy as we have more IVA tests booked for several Zero’s and other sports cars and also two very nice factory built Zero’s, which we will share more details with you soon.

Our IVA Service is now back up and running nicely after a slight delay with appointments being cancelled due to Covid-19. Please get in touch if you would like more details or to book your car in with us for the IVA Service that we offer.

We have also been busy with Zero self build kit collections and deliveries, last month we were pleased to welcome Peter Baker to GBS to collect his Zero Mazda Self Build.

We know have several other Zero Self Builds awaiting collection, and several that are currently at our paint shop. Customers Zero is upgraded and transformed....

A few weeks ago GBS customer David Jacklin sent us some photographs of his Zero which he recently had professionally wrapped transforming it into a stunning car. It was also with us in the workshop a while ago where it had the new upgraded heated seats fitted that we now offer, along with the ATR Suspension and Carbon Fibre Trims.

GBS Customer Simon Britten also sent us some photographs of his Zero being enjoyed, that we prepared and presented to IVA last year. Yesterday we received a photograph from the Crossland Brothers who’s Zero is progressing nicely and is now on its wheels and we were pleased to hear that they started the engine for the very first time over the weekend. Their Zero is also now all booked in for our IVA Service and will be with us in the workshop soon for IVA preparations. Nice Zero's currently being built & another arrived back from paint....

We are busy with several Zero factory build in progress…. We shared this newly painted green Zero with you last month and it’s progressing nicely the carpets are in, seats arrived and wheels are on, suspension fitted and the interior dash is now being fitted. It will soon be up and running and ready waiting to be presented to IVA, we will share more photographs once its on the floor and ready to go.

Another stunning Zero recently arrived back from our paint shop and we are pleased to share it with you all. This Zero has been painted in a stunning Audi R8 Orange, and will be powered by a 2L Zetec engine its now back in our workshop ready for the build to continue and to get it completed ready to present to IVA. There is a slight delay in IVA Tests due to the Coronavirus and we have had several tests that were booked cancelled that are now being rescheduled. Busy workshop…. Is your Zero all set up and ready for the summer?

As many of you know we offer a full range of workshop services for your GBS Zero Sports cars and also other sports cars. We offer a wide range of services from upgrades to Mot’s. The new ATR Products brake upgrade has proven very popular as has the ATR Products Suspension upgrade. Our IVA Service is another popular service and we always have several sports cars in the workshop that are here for the IVA Service that we offer. We are able to prepare and present your car to IVA along with registration as well, this week we are presenting  two Zero’s to test with one of them passing this morning.

 We have recently seen an increase in customers having Geometry and corner weight set up done on their sports cars, which can make a big difference to both the performance and handling of your sports car.

We currently have a nice Zero in our workshop with us for the IVA Service and is booked to go to test soon. But last week we took it to be Rolling Road tested, if you visit our GBS Instagram you can see a link to a short video clip taken at 3,500 rpm solid state mapping on an Emerald ECU with a new 2.0Zetec on ATR Products Throttle Bodies. It produced 174 bhp with more to come!

GBS Zero Race Car being enjoyed & GBS Workshop is busy…..

It nice to have this Zero back in our workshop for a  few days, its now currently having the ATR Products Brake upgrade kit fitted. The owner Peter Cartwright competes with his 2.5 Duratec powered Zero in Sprints and does several Track Days a year! GBS Customer Jon Barratt recently sent us some photos from when he raced at Silverstone International a couple of weeks ago in the Mag Sevens series. He said “Unfortunately, didn't finish the first 40 minute race due to a snapped throttle cable but did well in the second 15 minute sprint gaining six places from the start taking me to 2nd in class”. Jon is also hoping to join us next month on our GBS Track Day at Blyton Park on Sunday 23rd June, click here for more details.

Another GBS customer also collected his sports car from us this week which wasn’t a Zero, Chris Morrison collected his Liege Sports trials car that we completed and prepared and presented to IVA. Chris is now awaiting the registration and hopes to join us in at our GBS Cars & Coffee event which is happening on Saturday 8th June.
