GBS Team Member Moves on to the Royal Air Force...

We will soon be saying farewell to Lewis, who is leaving us to follow a long-held dream of joining the Royal Air Force.

Lewis has been a valued member of the GBS team for over two and a half years, working within our workshop and contributing to a wide variety of projects. During his time with us, he has gained hands-on experience across a full range of vehicles — not just Zeros — developing his skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and varied environment.

One of the standout highlights of his time here was the opportunity to work on an F1 car that came through the workshop for ongoing work — a memorable experience and a testament to the level of expertise within the team.

From day one, Lewis had a clear ambition to become a pilot in the Royal Air Force, and we’re delighted to see him take the next step towards achieving that goal. He will be starting his training soon, working towards his ultimate aim of becoming a Typhoon pilot.

While we’re sad to see him go, we couldn’t be more supportive of his journey and proud to have been part of it.

On behalf of everyone at GBS, we wish Lewis all the very best for the future and every success in his training. We look forward to following his progress and hearing about his achievements in the years to come.
