Evening factory tour of GBS for the Vale of Belvoir Machinery Group.....
/It was a pleasure to welcome members of the Vale of Belvoir Machinery Group to GBS for a full behind-the-scenes evening factory tour recently, giving visitors the opportunity to experience first-hand what happens inside the home of the GBS Zero.
The evening provided guests with a detailed insight into the complete journey of our sports cars — from initial design and engineering through to fabrication, assembly, and final preparation. Visitors were able to explore all areas of the business, including the workshop, fabrication department, engineering areas, and production facilities, while learning more about how the Zero is developed and manufactured.
One of the highlights of the tour is always showing just how much of the car is produced in-house. We’re proud that around 80% of the GBS Zero is designed and manufactured by our own team here in the UK. This gives us the ability to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and innovation across our entire product range, while also allowing us to continuously develop and improve the Zero platform.
Guests also had the opportunity to see a variety of customer builds currently in progress, along with completed cars, race cars, chassis in production, and some of the exciting development work happening behind the scenes. It’s always great to share the passion and engineering that goes into every Zero build and to show visitors the level of craftsmanship involved.
Our factory tours are suitable for individuals, clubs, colleges, and groups who are interested in engineering, motorsport, manufacturing, or simply have a passion for cars. Whether you already own a Zero, are considering a future build, or just want to learn more about what we do, the tours offer a fantastic insight into British engineering and specialist car manufacturing.
We’d like to thank everyone from the Vale of Belvoir Machinery Group for visiting us and for making it such an enjoyable evening. We hope you all enjoyed the tour and learning more about GBS and the Zero range.
More factory tour dates will be announced soon, but if you’re interested in arranging a visit for your club, organisation, or group, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the GBS team — we’d be delighted to welcome you to the factory.
